Virginia Greene has recently been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Business Council of British Columbia. An entrepreneur, who built the highly successful Go Direct Marketing firm from the ground up, but who has also served at the most senior levels of government, Virginia is a true British Columbian who has always been committed to serving her community and her family. Justine Greene, Virginia’s daughter, has more than 10 years experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Working for many years as General Manager of her mother’s firm, Go Direct Marketing, Justine and Virginia have shared a rich and unusual family experience. Justine is now the Director of Operations for InspireHealth, an invaluable wellness facility which provides integrated care for people living with cancer.

Justine Greene

Justine Greene is the Director of Operations of InspireHealth, at Canada’s only Integrated Cancer Care located here in Vancouver. Justine is a senior Operations professional with 10 years of experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. She brings with her a breadth of knowledge and understanding of all aspects of operational effectiveness, and adminstrative and human resource management. Her professional experience includes the postion of General Manager for Go Direct Marketing. She has 3 children and a lovely husband.

Virginia Greene

Virginia Greene, as a very successful entrepreneur, was founder of Go Direct, one of the country’s most successful advertising agencies, which was purchased a few years ago by one of the world’s most successful agencies - J. Walter Thompson, New York. Moving on, Virginia served as the Deputy Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs in the Office of the Premier from 2006 to 2007 and was Deputy Minister of Tourism, Sports and the Arts for the Province of British Columbia from 2005 to 2006. She is also a Past Chair of the BC/Yukon Division of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She is presently President and Chief Executive Officer of the Business Council of BC. Virginia earned a degree in anthropology from the University of British Columbia and has lived all of her life in the province. Her daughter Justine will fill us in on the rest!
Located at 1876 West 1st Avenue, the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. will host our May event. The Art Express offers up art fun on their converted school bus. They will be parked at momcafé for the 3 to 5 year olds! Nannies on Call will be assisting in the child care area.

Cost: $32.00 non-members - $25.00 members (plus GST)
Childcare: Kids aged 0 – 12 years old are welcome. Listen to the speakers and engage in uninterrupted conversation while the children are supervised in a safe and fun area nearby. Babies aged 0 to 6 months (or older if you prefer) may choose to sit closer to Mom. An additional fee of $10.00 (plus GST) for the first child and $5.00 (plus GST) for each additional child will be charged for those requiring childcare (snacks included).
