What's your .tel?

What is .TEL?

.TEL (dot tel) is the new digital business card that never goes out of date.

.TEL is an exciting new technology that has the potential to revolutionize the way people connect and keep in touch. It's like an electronic business card that allows people to pass someone all of the contact information using a simple, easy to remember name like SteveSmith.tel or Webnames.tel.

.TEL is for storing and sharing contact information. It unifies your website address, email addresses, phone numbers, Skype, SMS, fax and the growing number of social media links like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and MySpace into one easy-to-remember name that you give to people. The best part is, if you change any piece of information, everyone you know will have your most up-to-date contact information, keeping you connected for life.

Nanny Angel Network Spreads Its Wings
New Program Provides Relief Childcare for Mothers with Breast Cancer

Funded by Rethink Breast Cancer, The Nanny Angel Network provides Nanny Angels to families with a mom affected by breast cancer. This program is proudly sponsored by Diamond Personnel and Nannies On Call. Volunteer professional nannies provide quality, compassionate relief childcare in the family's home. The program currently serves Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

The Nanny Angel Network works with oncologists, nurse navigators and self identified patients to connect with families who will benefit from this program. To participate in the program, a mother must currently be in treatment for breast cancer or in the early stages of recovery and her children must be under the age of 12.

Through a specialized Nanny Angel Training Program, Nanny Angels have developed the skills needed to work sensitively and compassionately with the kids of a Mom with Breast Cancer. Nanny Angels are screened carefully, have first aid training and go to each Nanny Angel assignment with their own Nanny Angel Activity Bag full of the tools of the Nanny Trade.

As part of its mandate, The Network strives to promote breast health awareness among our community of Nanny Angels - many of whom come from cultures that shy away from proactive breast examination. The Network is also working to help the Nanny Profession attain greater respect in our communities for the very important work they do every day with our families and our children.
