Toy Box Treasures is an on-line only toy store committed to bringing customers hand-selected educational toys and books that will capture children's hearts and help foster learning as they develop and grow.


I am a professional writer and editor with an avid interest in children's literacy and learning. Along with Toy Box Treasures, I also publish children's books. My first book, Absolute Alphabet, makes a difference to children and their families because proceeds from sales support an organization called Adam's Dream Fund. I have had an enriching career. My story begins with editorial positions throughout Ontario in business trade magazines and some fashion and freelance in between. After shifting my focus to corporate communications and editorial consulting, I decided to plunge forward back to university for an MBA. After the MBA, in 2005, I consolidated my skills as writer, editor, consultant, and entreprenuer by creating Toy Box Treasures. I love every second of what I do and plan to continue doing it for a long time.

Agnes has 3 children.
