BarkingHippo is dedicated to keeping your kids looking HIP and COOL while doing our part to save the planet. Using 100% “up cycled” material to create one-of-a-kind locally re-made clothing for kids! I purchase previously owned and loved adult size t-shirts from thrift stores around the lower mainland, and re make them into mini me toddler t-shirts and baby onesies. I base my search on humor and look for vintage concert rock shirts or retro product and branded shirts that have seen their days and pay them forward with a new life cycle to our kids! With the green revolution upon us, and people trying to live more sustainable lifestyles, I wanted to provide an eco conscious brand name. BarkingHippo will be exhibiting at the Steveston Farmers and Artisan Market through out the 2009 summer and fall season! The items will be available soon on our website!


My background is in Sales and Marketing, where I have previously worked as an Event Coordinator for an Event Management Company and as an Exhibiting Consultant, helping companies with their Trade Show Marketing Programs. I am married and we have a 2 year boy named Noah.
