"If you can wear jewelry, you can sell jewelry." There are no special skills, no stiff rehearsed presentation to memorize. You just go to parties, display our collection, have fun and write up orders! As a Hostess, you have the opportunity to earn up to 30% of the guests' orders in free jewelry. I started working from home in spring of 1990 and I have not looked back. Being a brand new Mom at that time, I wanted something that I could work around my growing family and that could provide me with the same income I was already receiving. Being self employed has given me that and more! I'm not sure how I would have felt if I had a 9-5 job. I treasure the moments of being there for the first step, the first tooth - all the 'firsts' and I continue to be there for those firsts. Letting them drive, (eek!) Graduation (finally), university (looks promising), first grey hairs (that's mine!) Living on the North Shore is a priviledge and my husband and I enjoy exploring our 'backyard'. I am active in a number of organizations - www.theconnectedwoman.com, SWAN - Successful Women Always Network, NV Chamber of Commerce, as well as being a volunteer.
